Men's Confraternity is an internet based non-profit and benevolent

A GROUP OF MEN AND WOMEN UNITED TO ACHIEVE:
EQUALITY AND EQUITY BETWEEN THE RIGHTS OF MALES AND FEMALES,
FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL
(We have)"been guilty now for forty years of the worst possible oversight, against the gallant fathers of our land. Either we honor both our parents, mother and father, or let us desist from honoring either one. But to single out just one of our two parents and omit the other is the most grievous insult imaginable". Sen. Margaret Chase Smith
Website Disclaimer
Whilst working and directing our efforts towards resolving issues of importance to men and fathers, we categorically deny any claims that we are opposed to gender equality. In fact, we argue that we are fighting for true gender equaltiy. We wish for women to be truly equal with men, but we do this by arguing from a male's perspective. Gender equality will never be achieved whilst only one gender is entitled to have an input into its development. Gender equality will never be achieved whilst 'affirmative action' policies seek to alleviate perceived inequality by disadvantaging and discriminating against men. One rule for men and another for women is not equality. Equality means everyone is treated the same and gender is irrelevant. As a consequence, Men's Confraternity opposes current feminist ideology. Modern feminism is a mutation of what was once an honourable movement seeking equality for women. It is now a confused and convoluted ideology, which seeks rights and privileges for women above and beyond those of men. Modern feminism campaigns for rights using tactics involving the demonisation and dehumanisation of men, turning male bashing into a popular and socially acceptable sport. Modern feminism argues for the eradication of the traditional family unit and the overwhelming benefits it brings to both men and women and to the welfare of our children. Modern Feminism is an orgy of ignorant self-indulgant vengeful women and their self-deprecating male stooges fighting for everything and anything that gives women the greatest advantage over men at the time. This is not equality, it is chauvinism and hypocrisy.
Men's Confraternity is an Associate Member of the Shared Parenting Council of Australia and we fully support the principle of equal shared parenting after separation or divorce.
